How we make money
Last updated 29 September 2026
This site is free, carries no subscription, and does not sell your data. It is paid for by affiliate commissions: when you follow a link from here to a shop and buy something, the shop may pay us a small share of what you paid. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the merchant's margin, never out of your pocket.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases
We take part in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
We also have direct affiliate agreements with individual shops. Where a link is one of those, the same thing applies: a purchase may earn us a fee, and it costs you nothing extra.
What it does not change
Which gifts we suggest. We pick what is worth suggesting for the occasion and the person, and a commission is not an argument in that choice: we recommend things no programme pays us for, and we leave out things that would pay well. If a gift is here, it is because it fits the list it is on.
A wishlist somebody writes is theirs. What its owner adds is what appears on it. We do not insert paid products into anyone's list, and we do not reorder a list to favour a merchant.
Prices
Prices and availability come from the shops, and they move. We refresh what we show, say when a price was read where we show one, and correct or remove what is reported as wrong as soon as we reasonably can — but the shop's own page at the moment you buy is the one that counts. We are not the seller: the purchase, the delivery, the returns and the refunds are between you and the merchant.
Tracking
For a commission to be attributed, the shop has to know the visit came from here. When you follow the link, the shop or its affiliate network may set a cookie or an identifier in your browser to record that. It happens on their site, under their privacy policy. What comes back to us is a number of sales and an amount — not who you are, not what you bought. The privacy policy says the rest.
Questions
Ask us at [TODO: contact@domain]. If you would rather we earned nothing from a purchase, copy the product's name into the shop's own search box instead of following our link — the site works the same, and we would rather say so than hide it.
